Information about Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux (PAMP)
PAMP Suisse (Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux) was founded in 1977 in Ticino, Switzerland. The company began as a manufacturer of small minted bars and precious metal alloys for the jewelry and watchmaking industries.
In 1981, MKS (Switzerland) SA acquired a majority stake. After decades of operational integration, the two companies officially merged in 2021, creating what is now MKS PAMP SA.
Today, MKS PAMP operates one of the most advanced precious metals refineries in the world, with an annual capacity exceeding 450 tonnes of gold, 600 tonnes of silver, and approximately 30 tonnes of platinum group metals.
The product range includes minted and cast products in gold, silver, platinum, and palladium, with weights ranging from 1 gram to institutional sizes. The most famous design, Lady Fortuna, introduced in 1979, remains one of the most iconic motifs in the global bullion industry.
MKS PAMP holds full “Good Delivery” accreditation from both the London Bullion Market Association and the London Platinum and Palladium Market. It is also one of only three refineries worldwide appointed as an official “Referee” for both organizations.
Combined with long-standing technical expertise and strong ethical sourcing practices, MKS PAMP is regarded as one of the most trusted names in the international precious metals industry.
